Lots of things. Sometimes programs written by other people and sometimes programs I have written.
The problem is that computers have to be told what to do in very simple language, and then they do exactly what you tell them – and that is usually not what you meant to tell them.
Even programs like Windows, which are used by millions of people, sometimes do not work and you have to turn the computer off, then turn it back on to get it to go again.
