I first started science when I was very small. I didn’t know I was doing experiements but it was just what people do when they learn about the world they live in. I’ve never really stopped wondering about the world and everything in it.
@blue11fudge: there’s a saying that all young children are natural scientists – they question everything about everything to help them understand the world.
I was just a normal kid who asked lots of questions and as I got older I really liked the structure that science offered to help me problem solve and answer questions. 🙂
Apart from what Michael and Mia have said, which I think is true, I suppose I first recognised that I was “doing” science when we started doing different experiments in school.
We did not do much science at primary school, so starting high school and having science lessons was a whole new world for me. I was lucky having good teachers who helped me to love it.
