@amy12: No. You can be curious at any age! Science is about being curious, asking questions and then trying to find answers to those questions. You can apply this at any age.
There may be age limits to studying science at university (I’m not sure though, maybe check with a teacher or careers advisor), but I think there are lots of ways to be involved in science before university.
There are some great websites with lots of science information you can read if you’re interested. Check out the ABC’s surfing scientist or Catalyst pages for starters.
