Question: How do you write ∞ in numerals? e.g. 10000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000

  1. Short answer is you can’t – that is why we have a special symbol for it.
Mathematicians and scientists use a special notation foer very large numbers like the one you wrote down:
10000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 = 1 followed by 55 zeros is 10^55 (it looks a little neater in proper notation). On a computer we would write it 1.0e55

    2

  2. The only other way I know to write it (other than the symbol) is to use the word ‘infinity’ 🙂
