Question: What is the record of how fast a dog traveled?

    Thanks for the chat this morning. Great questions.
    The record for the fastest dog I could find was for an African Wild Dog, which isn’t really a pet dog, but its still a dog. It was found going 71km/h. Which is pretty fast… compared to me anyway 🙂

    The fastest recorded speed for a domestic dog is 68.8 km/hr. It was a saluki (breed) dog.

    Greyhounds, whippets, border collies, huskies and vizslas are also really fast breeds.
