That’s a hard one. Nearly all of the computer programs I have worked on are technical (as opposed to commercial – like a payroll or billing system, although I have done them too).
One I really liked was a system for processing sonar (underwater sounds) which would fit into a box small enough for one person to carry (most at the time systems were several large racks) and had a windows and menus user interface so it was easy to use.
Sadly, no-one wanted to use it.
