In my job as a military scientist. The most dangerous involved following a tank, while practising looking for explosives, but it was in a hot dry place and the grass caught fire and then the tank was on fire… lets just say I had to stop looking for explosives.
In my current research job, the most dangerous situations are when I’m working with distillation equipment. Its something you use to make sure you get ultrapure chemicals for experiments. Most of the chemicals used are flammable like petrol. Every now and again, people I work with dont use the equipment properly and the room can quickly fill up with flamable gas. Sometimes I think if I accidentally sneezed, the whole room would blow up.
