Question: why are there clouds in the sky one day and none in the next day

Keywords: ,

  1. Clouds are what we see when there is a mass of water droplets suspended in the sky (atmosphere) – some days are drier and so there isn’t the accumulation of liquid to be seen as clouds. Wind moves these masses across the sky (watch a radar on the Bureau of Meterology website: http://www.bom.gov.au/australia/satellite/)

  2. Like Mia said, but also the season has an impact. In Darwin (and other places, I’m sure) for virtually 6 mo of the year it’s dry, sunny and clear blue skies during the day. Then the other 6 mo it’s cloudy, humid and rainy.
