Yes, my job is very challenging. Fortunately, there are a lot of very smart people that I work with at the Australian Astronomical Observatory who help me out. There is so much that I need to know to be able to build a instruments for telescopes that I can’t keep it all in my head. So all the other scientists and engineers know about all the different parts of the telescope; I just need to be able to put all of the different bits of knowledge together!
